In March 2022, we presented 10 performances in 5 different spaces: Frölunda Kulturhuset, Vingen, Blå Stället, Musikhus &amp; Cinnober Teater.Currently we are working on the version and scenic montage into Spanish Project description:&nbsp;The project is grounded in the concept of an immersive theatre. This is a form of contemporary performance that allows having a different connection with the audience and the use of the space among other things. This type of theatre will allow children to move freely, ask, talk, sit, and touch. And if they do not want to stay until the end, they are of course free to go. It also means that such a performance can be taken out from its traditional (theatre) context, and that it could be presented in for example museums, alternative spaces (culture house, exhibition spaces), and/or rooms (public libraries) that cover the basic technical characteristics. This project will focus specifically on children between 4 to 7 years old. The objective is that engages the younger audience in how people can reduce their environmental impact in everyday life in different ways. Disaster! The Northern Lights are gone! No, not like a lost sock. The Northern Lights have lost all their luster, as it is no longer possible to see the city's bright light. All the lights have made the northern lights disappear. Professor Mustasch, a professional search scientist, and her colleague Solstråle, are commissioned to find the northern lights and restore their magnificent splendor. And for this important mission, they need our help. Together we go on a organic journey of discovery in the magical world of the Arctic, with glaciers, snow and cold. How do we stay warm? The title of this work consists of two words: SKUM and MITATE. "SKUM," is both the Swedish word foam and a word meaning "strange people or actions" or "something alien." "MITATE" is a technique of shifting perspective and making something different from its original purpose. However, when the Swedish and Japanese expression is combined, it means a strange point of view, i.e, an alien's point of view or behavior. Furthermore,"SKUMITATE," which connects the two, means "to be afraid" or "to stand up while being frightened" in Japanese. Work description: The Takuya's vision about this choreography is based in the meaning that societies have given to dolls: "Since ancient times, dolls have been believed to have souls and used as substitutes or objects for wishes. Similar to child’s play it can be used as a tool to question human nature. A multifaceted vision is the key to connect "different" things and to bridge different materials and different genres. Just like our society. The relationships we face in our daily lives and the intercultural relationships are becoming more and more complex. I depict our society by blurring the boundaries between dolls and humans, Tap and contemporary, two similar yet different materials". With this premise I wanted to create an inhospitable atmosphere, where shadows and darkness will accompany the characters of the choreography. A game of visual dualities, in which the audience could see how the characters moved between light, darkness and chiaroscuro, as my interpretation of the complexity of human relationships and their different emotional states with respect to objects, other people and /or situations. teenager struggling with the death of her father. Rory's dad was an explorer. Well, not literally. Literally, he was a geography teacher. And when he dies suddenly in an accident, Rory feels that she needs to make an expedition. With a bagpack and Dad's ashes at her side, Rory sets off her adventure to the North Pole, a place where always her dad wanted to go. And is how Rory and her dad's ashes start an adventure that follows the footsteps of all the dead beardy explorers that her dad used to read. She gets out her home before her mum finds out they've gone. Work description: This project came at a very sad time for me. Like the character, I was grieving the recent death of an uncle who was like a father to me, so the project was a way of honouring the process of grieving. The symbolic discourse of the scenography about the Arctic and Rory’s grief was reflected in the graphic forms that I interpreted as the form of grief, through sharp points, folds that form layers as if they were memories and at the same time an Arctic melting due to global warming, surrounded by a black space, which represents absence. This scenographic design would also evoke snowy mountains, Nordic landscapes and colours that are associated with the Northern Lights. The lighting design worked with the basic principles of dance lighting design, with the idea of creating elongated shadows, which visually resemble the fading of energy due to the loss of a loved one. pandemic changed the lives of many, but also a search for what heals us; the healing power of love, and of the rage that makes us go on. It is March 2020 and a pandemic has broken out. Assistant nurse JOJJO has been on maternity leave, and when she returns to her night job in the intensive care unit, she finds herself in the eye of the storm. Gradually, dream and reality begin to merge. What does she do if the choice is to save the lives of others, or herself? KATARINA works in home care. When the pandemic breaks out, chaos ensues. But Katarina can handle everything - until she herself becomes the one who infects. Work description: The set design and lighting design were emerging from a long process made of workshops. I had the challenge of creating a design that was close to the public but at the same time seemed far from everyday reality. Together with the director we chose to use a construction scaffolding that would symbolize the state of mind of society during and after the pandemic: destruction/construction. Many people had been deeply affected by the loss of family members, many were still experiencing after-effects of the virus, and others felt that they had to continue building a better quality of life. This unique but big element had to recreate real, fictional and symbolic spaces that accompanied the metaphors within the story. Both qualify for major competitions, where they meet in training and build a good friendship while they enjoy chating and bursting into feverish laughter, laughing at boys and dreaming of sponsorships. Everything changes until Ann is disqualified for having tested high in testosterone, which by rule prevents her from competing. However, these results assign her the label of "abnormal", and place her in a frustrating and outrageous position for her person. The work shows us the ignorance and invasiveness of the way elite sport approaches gender, with results that disproportionately affect women. Fair Play paints a rich, three-dimensional picture of the banal and senseless definitions that are placed on women not only on the track, but within a society that has prejudice for everything. Work description: Since the story took place between exhaustive training and competitions, I wanted to create an immersive experience in which the audience felt like they were on an athletics track, so the set design was based on the basic principles of round theatre, where audience sat around the athletics track in the center. I also created green spaces where other actions took place, such as training, talks, and other sites. description:&nbsp;A professor who does not believe in paranormal phenomena, skeptical Professor Phillip Goodman, receives a file containing details of three unexplained cases of hauntings, which he decides to investigate and embarks on a terrifying journey. Professor Goodman has recorded interviews with three people who claim to have had a supernatural experience. The stories are told by a night watchman, a teenage driver and a businessman expecting his first child. Each story told has a sense of guilt for the acts committed prior to the unexplained hauntings. These stories eventually come together, with an unexpected twist, where it becomes clear that Professor Goodman is a participant in the stories and not simply a narrator. Work description:&nbsp;In this production, the design team consisted of three people, one illusionist and mentalist who directed the necessary set design elements to create false perspectives that concealed the entire system of special effects that the production had. The other set designer was in charge of spatial design and the construction systems. And my role was to designated the aesthetic that the elements had to follow, including the painting and stage decoration. The aesthetics sought in the staging should be realistic. The places where the actions occurred had to adhere to the descriptions that the characters made when they were telling their paranormal story. Both the scenic painting and the decoration maintained an aesthetic that was recognized by the collective imagination, regardless of the age and/or cultural background of the audience. The podium for the professor character, who investigated paranormal situations, was custom-made and was a mix between a university podium and the one usually used by politicians in their press conferences. I focused on recreating a security cabin in an abandoned factory, with few elements and with colors and materials associated with such spaces. I also painted the factory doors, which had to look like metal and had locks. Another of the scenic elements was the changing table, which contained tricky moving elements. The character belonged to a wealth English social status, so I decided to maintain a classic aesthetic, with discreet decoration and basic colors. The same scene had a french door that was part of the room, from where a spirit came into. Entire cities are destroyed, people are murdered and many are forced to flee for their lives. We see people leaving their homes to protect their children despite the knowledge that they are leaving their family and those they love behind. History repeats itself. In 1943, a woman is forced to climb over a wall with her son, because she knows that if she stays in the ghetto, they will not survive. Under a false identity, she does everything to save the person who means more to her than life itself. This is a story among many others that we must never forget. The play is based on an autobiography published in 1983 by Zofia Brzezinska, where she tells about her experiences from the Warsaw ghetto during World War II. Work description:&nbsp;The lighting design has a strong red wall that means all the unnecessary blood that brought the World War II, as well as the love of all the women that changed their lives by migrating and adapting to a better life. This is complemented by the play of different areas on the stage that evoke us to different situations and periods of time. It is about worlds that are created and perish, great cultures that flourish, an area that is conquered and a country that after a long struggle becomes independent. Stories of life and death follow us through the exhibition and capture a few moments in Mexico's history. This story is full of conflicts and tragedy but also resilience and humor. It is about darkness and tomorrow, about life and death. The close relationship between life and death is a central theme in the Mexican cultural heritage. The traditions have been mixed and reshaped for thousands of years. Mexico's multifaceted origins and traditions show an exhibition that contains both struggle and courage, skulls and flowers, and how Mexicans are given a positive perspective about these subjects in many cultural aspects through the history. Work description:&nbsp;The scenographic design is full of symbols that refers to the Mexican culture like the faith, honor the memory of those who are no longer here, respect and traditions. The portal that frames the entrance to the exhibition is a gigantic papel picado, a characteristic element of traditional Mexican festivals. The sensation of seeing a piece of chopped paper is automatically associated with a festivity, a place of social coexistence, or a market, this was the main reason why the exhibition has such a peculiar entrance. Because the public enters not only to learn about the history of Mexico, but also to celebrate life and learn about the reasons why we celebrate the Day of the Dead. The four arches represent the four cardinal points: north, south, east and west; as well as the four natural elements that were so important within pre-Hispanic cultures: water, fire, air and earth, and that are represented with the corresponding color inside the arch. Blue for water, yellow/orange for fire, white for air, and green for earth. The papel picado hanging from the center visually echoes these colors, and the circular arrangement references the sun. The selfie spot is inspired by funeral wreaths and the tzonpantli, which was an altar in the form of a frame where a set of skulls was mounted before public view in order to honor the gods. Both symbols signify the mix of cultures that emerged after the Spanish conquest. The installation of crates in the form of a pyramid is inspired by two important places, each one has had its splendor in different stages within the history of Mexico and are part of our cultural identity. The first is the Tajin pyramid in Veracruz, which is located on the Atlantic coast, in the Gulf of Mexico. This pyramid is known as the Pyramid of the Niches, and it was a ceremonial place, where altars used to be placed to honor the gods. The second site is Ciudad Huacal located behind one of the largest markets in Mexico City, which is the Central de Abastos. Ciudal Huacal occupies a large area of the eight that belong to the Central, here the wooden boxes that transport fruits and vegetables are repaired, and that we Mexicans call "huacal". At this site, workers work 12-13 hour shifts in order to obtain a "better" salary than other sites. Both places coexist within Mexican society. One represents our past with Mesoamerican roots and the other represents our global present and the harsh working conditions faced by the majority of the population. Despite any circumstance, Mexican society maintains a positive attitude and people find a way to survive. <img width="2975" height="3556" width_o="2975" height_o="3556"
